capable.

liquified logic dribbles off the sides of the table as they all discuss the best options, but the human’s brand of logic is far too mutable to be considered sound by the others. it’s too sticky with emotions, too slippery with hopes and dreams, and has been endlessly gentrified by the others due to a failure to respect the boundaries of its watery yet consistent matrix. the others have never been able to pinpoint the lazy lines and connect the dizzying dots into proper shapes, but it’s not the human’s fault that the others can’t see the beauty and wisdom of water puddle logic.

the others question each decision, picking it apart and spilling its guts on the floor carelessly like an 8th grade science lab dedicated to dissecting poor, deceased animals. motives, finances, and intentions are laid bare by the knife the others wield, but it does nothing to fulfill their bloodlust, and their own narratives. the others choose to believe that the human’s choices are inappropriate simply because these choices do not fit the expected definition of ‘capable’, but the human knows that being compassionate and kind in all their decisions will always earn them interest on their investments.
